Rescue with responsibility
The proposed intake process starts with assessment of available housing, disease risk, treatment needs, staff workload, and care reserves. Capacity limits protect the animals already in care.
Care that meets the animal’s needs
The intended care pathway includes triage, veterinary treatment, quarantine when needed, rehabilitation, and behavioral assessment. Medical decisions belong to qualified professionals.
A suitable home, or supported long-term care
Adoption would prioritize a safe, lasting match. Animals needing extended care would receive an individualized plan rather than an unsuitable placement.
